Sparking creative moments

Vicky Peacock at Creative Sparks in Darfield is celebrating her 100th enrollment at the art and music centre.

Vicky has worked in the education sector for the past 18 years and is passionate about teaching art and music for adults and children.

“Creative Sparks share facilities with TM Dance World owned by Tara McKeown and we are fully equipped with top quality art equipment and offer keyboard and piano lessons,” says Vicky.

“Our school holiday programme was really successful with children participating in art and craft, acrobatics, hip-hop and jazz dancing and then a movie at the end of each day. We are expanding rapidly and are presently looking for another tutor to join the team. People from across the district including Springfield, Kirwee, Glentunnel, Coalgate and Sheffield, join us.

“We host birthday parties with the birthday child choosing what theme they want to paint.

“At Ashley Kristensen’s recent party the mums joined in because they didn’t want to miss the fun.

“We are back to normal term time, and we have added in a new class to cater for role growth on Thursdays at 4.30pm. Our programmes inspire and bring out the sparkle in every individual.”
