Children of all ages will enjoy being part of the The Great New Zealand Easter Egg Hunt at Ferrymead Heritage Park on Easter Sunday with Plunket receiving a portion of the ticket sales.

“It is a great event for the whole family, and everyone can participate in the hunt. This is our second annual event, and it was very successful last year. People enjoyed coming along and interacting with others as they had fun together,” says event organiser Rachel.

“Buy an Easter Egg Hunt Map Card for only $4 plus the normal park entrance fee and get the card stamped at each location on the map. When all the stamps are collected, they can be taken to our Treat Redemption Station and to receive an Easter treat.

“There will be prizes for the best dressed Easter bunny or Easter character and event goers in fancy dress can take part in our Easter Parade.”

The train and tram will be running from 10am to 4pm with unlimited train and tram rides included in the admission price.

“We will have pony rides from Ponies2Go opposite the model trains for $5, face painting and a petting zoo. There will be a variety of food vendors, a free bouncy castle and many interesting displays open including the cinema, the printers.

“There are a limited number of Easter Egg Hunt Map Cards available on the day.”
