Rolleston’s first travel expo
by Mike Isle
If you have ever yearned for cruising the high seas or just lazing on a secluded beach helloworld Travel Rolleston is giving you the opportunity of seeing what’s on offer by hosting Rolleston’s first travel expo.
The company’s co-owner Paul Robinson said Rolleston Travel Expo’s aim is to bring together leading travel and tourism operators and present the public with what he describes as a window to the world.
“It’s one way that the public can take their time and have the convenience of examining the options and engaging with the suppliers all at one time and in one place,” he said.
“There will be everything from cruising the Antarctic to touring Vietnam. From top-of-the-line cruise liners to cycling tours. Anything goes, and everything will be on display.” Mr Robinson said there would be 17 travel operators and 57 brands represented and 15 travel-related presentations.
“It is not a selling exercise in the sense of purchasing at the time. It is more an opportunity to talk to the suppliers directly and get the information needed to make a decision at a later time.
“Of course, helloworld would like to help you at that time,” Mr Robinson said.
The helloworld Rolleston Travel Expo is on Saturday, March 30 at the Rolleston Community Centre, 10am to 3.30pm. Free admission.
