Celebrating all things Malvern

The 120th annual Malvern A&P Show will be held on Saturday, March 23 at the Sheffield Domain, 50 Barkers Rd, Sheffield.
The theme is What is great about Malvern. To commemorate the 120th show, two special medals and sashes will be awarded, one to the Supreme Livestock Exhibit and one to the Supreme Indoor Exhibit.
The NZ Army band will be in attendance this year, and they will play two mini-concerts. The beef cattle show, woodchopping and speed shearing are also happening along with some novelty events including the Rev N Ride, the Three Bare Event and Brickwall for the horses.
With the equestrian, sheep and cattle displays there are many new events and sponsors this year including the giant pumpkin and heaviest vegetable competition.
There will be ringside entertainment including the dog show, which has eight sections with prizes for best dressed making more fun at the show and the new dog agility course where owners of all ages show how fast their dogs can go.
The pet lamb, sheep and goat section will have many breeds on display, and the birds and floral exhibits are sure to delight event visitors.
The children can show their best-decorated vegetables racing down the ramp with schools welcome to enter as a school or classroom and children can enter individually. There is something for everyone at the Malvern A&P Show.
