Cuisine from around the world will be one of the features of this year’s CultureFest in Lincoln.

The 2018 CultureFest will be held at the Lincoln Domain on Sunday, September 30, from 11am to 4pm, and is a collaborative effort between the Selwyn District Council and the Christchurch Multicultural Council to celebrate Selwyn’s growing diversity.

The event will play host to food stalls from 15 different nationalities including Indian, Spanish, Bulgarian, Nigerian, Malaysian, Moroccan, Jordanian, Iranian, Russian and Ukrainian dishes.
Council’s senior events and recreation adviser, Dave Tippett, said there may be a few extra surprises as well.

“CultureFest provides a great opportunity to try food you may not experience in your day to day life.

“This is a great chance to wander around, and snack on food from a wide range of cultures,” Mr Tippett said.
