Garden on show

The award winning Broadfield Garden will once again host the Lincoln and District’s Community Care’s Spring Fling fundraiser.

David Hobbs’ landscaped gardens covering 10 acres on Selwyn Road will be the venue for the Spring Fling event which this year will be held on Sunday, October 8. One of the organisers, Vanessa Thompson, said as well as the opportunity to view the exquisite gardens there will be specialist artisan stalls, plants, great food and beverages, garden tours and demonstrations.

“To enhance the experience there will be music in the garden, and there’s nothing more relaxing than strolling through 10 acres of award winning gardens on a lazy Sunday afternoon.”

She said there are a few spaces left for stallholders but they will need to get in quickly.
