Playoff spots on the line

It’s still tight at the top of the Selwyn premier netball competition after the latest round of matches.

Lincoln returned to the top of the table after it crushed West Melton 86-26 but it only leads the competition on scoring differential with Greenpark also on 12 points.

Greenpark were pushed by Halswell at the Lincoln Events Centre on Saturday but finished strongly to take the match 68-43.

Meanwhile, Broadfield resurrected its playoff hopes with a comprehensive 65-32 win over Southbridge. Broadfield, Halswell and Southbridge are all locked together on four points and this coming weekend’s matches will go a long way to sorting out play-off spots.

Lincoln and Greenpark will clash in the top of the table match, Southbridge faces winless West Melton, and Broadfield will look to press its title credentials when it faces Halswell.
